The webcam is located at the junction "Butterweg / Mittelflügel" between Johanngeorgenstadt and Weitersglashütte, a popular resting place on the Kammloipe.

In about 500 meters distance there is the border crossing "Eisernes Tor". They cross the "Karlsroute", a popular bike path. The path to the right takes you over the "Mittelflügel" to "Sauschwemme" and goto "Auersberg" and left on the Kammloipe / Butterweg towards Johanngeorgenstadt.
