Educational and Tourist Mine is the recommended starting point for this interesting hike. From here, follow the "Mining Nature Trail" signs toward Lehmergrund, along the Jugelbach stream, with Pferdegöpel as your destination.
Continue in the direction of Mittelstadt until you reach Platz des Bergmanns. From here, the route leads back downhill via Eibenstockerstrasse and Karlsbader Strasse to the starting point of the hike.
